Colegio Buena Tierra was opened on September 1997 by its present Principal Dolores Berumen y Riquelme, “Miss Lolis” former founder of the first bilingual schools in Toluca and Metepec.

The main motivation was aiming to change Mexican education. Students must be curios, inquirers and must know why, how and when things happen. Students must develop skills, and not just practice memory.

Our educational platform is based on constructivism, cooperative and meaningful learning. We stand by our motto “Seize knowledge”, and that, requires developing skills and promoting positive attitudes toward others, environment and learning.
